I am sure you caught this but the article cites one modern-day "Austrian" in Lawrence White, who defends the first QE as non-controversial and necessary. Of course this is not an Austrian viewpoint and completely contradicts the entire article's explanation of Austrian econ up to that point in the article!
These people are clueless, it seems, even when they appear about to accidentally stumble over some Austrian truth.
